It is speed limited ain't it
 Feels like your standin on your damn head!I say it is. I hold it open for a few seconds in 6th and things are moving very quickly.
Speed limits came in early 2000ish because the busa was hitting 200 mph stock and the manufacturers didn't want to get in a top speed race and have the government step in. Just like the Japanese cars had a horsepower limit until not too long along ago.Yeh, coz when you bin it's gonna hurt much less at 186 than 200![]()
Are you selling me short? lol. The bike actually went 9.26 stock wheelbase and gearing. I had the top speed checked also on the dyno with the stock gears just out of curiosity. It was 194mph. Keep in mind that's with the raised rpm's due to the Ghuls flash. When you ad in real world conditions, that number can still drop, or take a while to get to.One of the members on this site is a buddy of mine. has the Gen IV, graves, ecu upgrade, some other bits. We are going to swap bikes for kicks and giggles. Just to see the difference and go for a ride.
The guy that posted the 9.8 sec 1/4 mile run against the Busa...
I know the GEN IV is an all around better bike... faster, better handling, etc.
Just going to see how soon I'll need to upgrade to the GEN IV...
So far I still like the look of the GEN III more than the GEN IV... But I'm more concerned with PERFORMANCE
It will be nice to compare the handling since I had mine adjusted and resprung v.s stock GEN IV
Lawyers and mothersthey go to some lengths to stop the top speed. geez, if your doing 185 mph, and their is still a few revs till redline, dunno why they cant just let it top out
My bad :mrgreen:Are you selling me short? lol. The bike actually went 9.26 stock wheelbase and gearing. I had the top speed checked also on the dyno with the stock gears just out of curiosity.
