:( I know that I have to believe to each their own, and whatever makes you smile is a good thing, but to me a sportbike is meant to run and handle... Stretching one out is a kind of like hooking up a prize race horse to a wagon...

I think if it was me, I would keep the 10 the way it is and get a cheap cruiser or chopper :wink:

Hell, don't knock this guy for wanting to lower his bike.

If that's what he wants out of his bike then so be it.

As a matter of fact, after flipping my 10, I promised the wife & kids I would

stop the wheelie's. So I'm thinking about stretching & lowering mine also.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Talk to Myrtle West.. they don't have one listed on their site, but I've seen one of their arms on an 08 and it looked really nice.

Hey i stretched mine 6 inches and lowered it about a week ago. And as a matter of fact i just got done with a 2 hour ride. I love it personally, the hit to handling is noticeable but not heartbreaking. Especially because all there is, is straight roads around here. For lowering, a little goes along way, your suspension softens so even little dents/ruts, whatever, you'll be scraping your belly pan.

Plus it just looks sooo effin sweet

Lowered and streched my 99 zx9 and loved it, had to get a stiffer rear spring and adjustable lowering links and a shorter kick stand. Still debating on doing the zx10. But with adjustable lowering links, kick stand and bolt on extensins and chain for stock/stretched lenth swapping back an forth is about a 30 min affair. Best of both worlds as the. Mood hits ya. :)
