My kickstand safety switch on my 08 zx10 is dead! I can't even crank it up in first gear! thought about replacing It but would rather remove it. Anybody have any suggestions or know the best way of taking it completely out?

The kickstand? If it were stuck down you wouldn't be able to start the bike in gear due to a failsafe. I would replace it. I see your bike is streched so an adjustable one might be best but I don't know how you could survive without one.
Had the same problem on my 06 when it was brand new. Went back to the dealer 3 times. The bike would just cut off due to the vibration triggering the switch. Almost got killed several times :headshake
Which do you think would be better? Tie the wires together closer to the fuse box or just cut them where they sit? I would rather go with the fuse box! Then you wont be able to see the wires hanging.
Cut them off at the switch, put them in a jacketed connector, crimp and tape. Never forget you did that tho. Especially to a possible future buyer. You can kill someone doing that.
yes, remove it and splice the wires together, come to think of it, I really hate that safety switch, I think I will remove mine as well
