Removing Seat/Battery?

First off hey guys.

A small "Something About Me";*

I just bought my first ever bike, 2011 ZX10r! I never owned a motorcycle before...currently it's in the shipping yard waiting to be picked up. The battery is pretty much dead and for the life of me I couldn't get the seat out. Can anyone explain to me how to remove the seat please? What tools, what do I need to take the battery out. Thank you guys

welcome mate,
take the rear seat off (key release from under the seat),then undo the 4 allen key screws that hold the plastic shroud around the rear seat and remove this, then you should see the front seat is attached by two bolts, undo and pull these off and front seat should come off.

@blink thanks! You know how big the last 2 bolts are? Are they Allen key bolts?

@Nashville the bike didn't come with one and all the PDF links I've checked online and this site doesn't work.
