Can someone please tell me the correct way to remove the tank. Bolts are out, but I need to disconnect the fuel-line. Is it a pinch-n-twist, or tug, or what. Also, which end should be dissed...

Zed- I'm assuming you're trying to measure the reference voltages for the different gears? Check your thread about this on bikeland (if you haven't already)
push the bike over and the tank should come off. naw take off the two bolts in the front next to the controls and then the bottom bolt. then you gotta pinch the orange thing actually you gotta use a flat head or something. then unplug the rest of the lines and your good to go.
I don't know how everyone is missing this but the bigest bitch is removing the fuel pressure pump electrical connector. It has 3 tabs on the connector that are very hard to remove at the same time and you can't remove the tank with out that being disconected. I actually cut the two side tabs because it is such a bitch and I know only one is needed and makes disasembly easier in the future. :eyecrazy:
Hey Zed,
Why are you removing the tank...did you lay it over or something?
