Ok I am joining you guys on the zx14 caliper up grade for my 10r,
Got a set coming.
After my last track day I became highly motivated to fix theses dam
Front breaks, As the day went on my breaks kept getting worse until
Finley my last session the break leaver was coming all the way
Back to the grip. I am looking forward to giving the zx14 Calipers
A try, what are you guy using for pads?

welcome to the club lol........I'm actually using just stock pads on my set up for now and haven't had any problems at all.

Track riding will deffinately seperate the casual riding from aggressive which will tax the OEM pads beyond their comfort zone so 1 suggestion is Vesrah RJL pads as a replacement.

I might be one of these followers, but before I spend anymore money I'll go Brembo M/C before any other brake changes.

I thinks its kinda a fix all when you add up cost of other changes and the effects they change.
Post up how they work out for you...

Same recommedation I got from Eric Dorn Racing here in Portland.
My buddy spent way too much for those pads, but they feel good once there hot.

I figured I would give this a try first since it only cost me 130 bux
if I am still not happy with how the work on the track Brembos are next.
I will report back when I have them on.

ZX14 caliper upgrade report!

My report on the ZX14 Calipers fitted on my 10r, they work
Awesome! I picked up a set off ebay and got them installed. Even with the stock Zx14 Pads they work a lot better than the stock 10r calipers and pads ever did.I use to have to run setting 1 on the break leaver but now I am on setting 5 and It’s a feel very positive and as soon as you hear the pressure switch click The handle is firm. I will give them the acid test next month at the Track But so far on the street with the OEM pads the feel of the leaver
Is wonderful and have amazing stopping power. After experiencing
The difference between the 2 calipers ( zx10 and zx14) I highly recommend this Upgrade, By the way I am still using the stock M/C on my 2006 10r
