yet another suspension question 2007 zx10

Hi blokes,cant seem to find an answer.
ive read that you can make the 2007 zx10 handle if you get your settings(
i can do that) and geomtry right (this is the part i can find an answer too)
what do people mean by getting your geomrty right"
my zx6 sicks like poo to a blanket and im picking up the zx10 this weekend.so id like to get it handleing as good as i can

Suss a few of this guys videos out. Should give you a basic understanding to start asking the finer questions.

But basically getting your geometry right is setting your sags. :thumbsup:

+1 Dave makes things easy to understand!!

To a racer, geometry means rake/trail, fork offset and swingarm angle numbers.

To a street rider, geometry pretty much means you have lowered the front and/or raised the rear.

Try looking thought older posts on here to see what others have done to their Gen 2's, might give you an idea of changes to make. But, make sure the previous owner didn't make any changes and I wouldn't make any ride height changes until you have set sag and had a bit of a chance to get to know the bike.
