Why would you let someone on your brand new ZX10R? If I were you I'd be asking for for him to cover the cost to replace anything with oem, I'd be upset!!!

How did he drop it?

Best lessons learned are usually the hardest, sorry about you luck

He knows how to ride! I didn't even get how it happened I guess it was just meant to be. I didn't mind letting at least my friends sit on my bike but now I do lol

Made the same mistake let my friend ride my bike he promptly crashed it in my neighbor's driveway. He totaled the bike. The only good part was he paid me for the bike but lesson learned.
Ya thank god I didn't let him ride it!

Big Pile of NOPE...
I have one friend that I let take out my bike. One.

He used to be a mechanic at a bike shop and would take out a number of bikes to 1. figure out what was wrong, and 2. test drive them afterwards.

he's the only guy i trust with the TLR, and the CBR "Smok'n Joe" used to be his.

every once in a while he needs a little "motorcycle therapy" 10 minutes on the TLR will hold him for months.
It sucks because I have been babying my bike! But the one time I finally let someone on it they immediately top it over.

The damage is minuscule like very, but it's just the fact that it's there that's bothering me! So I'll be fixing it and not letting anyone on my bike ever besides for my mechanic lol.

That's all the damage, like I said it's pretty minuscule but still bothers me lol.

Wouldn't bother me. Reminds me that Harley guys have sharp eyes. Over the last few years three at different times will look over the bike and ask about each whatever. Usually I never knew it was there.

Most visitors here are scared of supers BUT kids always have to sit on it so np, on the stand is all. Boys not girls.

Your drive appears sandy, judging by front tire. Tricky to keep unknown bike upright with sand marbles on concrete.

I make a habit of not letting anyone ride my bikes and I avoid riding anyone else's machine for the same reasons.
I don't know if I'd consider a couple scratched body panels the worst mistake of my life, but I'd certainly expect your friend to be headed to the Kawasaki parts counter right quick to buy all the parts he fucked up.

I've let a few of my friends ride my bikes, but it's always with the agreement of "You fuck it up, you fix it or replace it. If you can't afford it, don't touch it."

I also wouldn't ride something I couldn't afford to replace if something happened to it. I had the chance to ride my friends H2 a few weeks ago, but I don't have $30k sitting in my checking account so I didn't ride it. Just like I wouldn't take anything to the track that I couldn't afford to write off, there's risk involved every time you get on a bike, both physical and financial.

Just my $.02.

All true.

That said I have let Michi get on and ride my ZX7 and Ducati. She crashed the 7, dropped the Duc. Neither suffered really bad damage that couldn't be readily fixed so all was good for the most part. Was more worried about her when she crashed than the bike. She and my brother (besides my friend mechanic) are the ONLY ones to ever ride anything I owned.
Damn.
I let girls sit on my stuff all the time if I'm there and its on the race stands.
The gentleman's agreement is strong in my friend circle though; you break it you buy it.
