Does the kit allow for clutchless downshifting? If so how do you do it? And if not how can I do it where it wouldn't interfere with the woolich race kit already installed.

Yes the KRT has the clutchless down shift so will you lose it in the flash?? Also if you send a blank ecu to be fladhed what's the difference ? ????

You have to enable the auto blip capability in the flash settings in the Woolich software.

This thread is titled "gen 4" for which there's no auto blip avaialable through software alone

Oh shit. You're right. Missed that little tidbit.

Can you explain auto blip what does it do exactly

Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk

The auto blip is the same thing as you blipping the throttle on downshift, except the computer does it for you. You need computer controlled throttle valves (ride by wire) to make it work. The gen 4 didn't have that capability, and the gen 5 doesn't have it without the software reflash.

What do you know about the Schnitz flash. Will any of theses flashes effect the abs. Thanks for your input .

The Schnitz is just a standard mail-in flash to derestrict the bike. They may also add some generic fueling changes. It's cheap and no one has had their ECU fried by them that I'm aware of.

The ABS module is separate from the ECU.

I guess the question is who has the best mail in flash . Also what do you think of keeping the stock ecu and mailing in another one to be flashed . My thinking is because of warranty issue . If something should go wrong .

Just pick a company and go with them. Everyone says "I want the best", yet they never define that term. Most features? Most power? Customized for your mods? Cheapest? There's lots of things that people would call "the best" and you're never going to get a straight answer. There simply isn't one company that hits all those things so just pick one based on what you want out of it.

If you want the best for YOUR bike, you need a tune for YOUR bike in YOUR area. No sense in getting a generic flash that is made for a different bike at a different altitude and air density.

If you are worried about warrent, leave it stock. I blew 2 engines in my evo when it had a 10 year warrenty. Obviously warrenty was voided

Ok and thank you for your time I just don't want to make a mistake because I have been down that road and it took me a month to get my bike straightened out. Hope you understand .

There no way I can leave this bike stock because of the way they set up the gearing I don't feel the power like my 2013. If I knew this bike was set up this I think I'd buy a used 2013 with low miles instead . Maybe I will just do a PC5 AND A AUTO TUNER at least it won't affect the warranty .

ONE THING I noticed with a friends Annitory shifter was that it cuts on downshift so it makes it better the downshift. and my friend can downshift way better with it

I told Anthony to put it on the gen4 software (in the race tools) and those type of small things do not go far..

When you switch your shifting pattern does it show up on the dashboard in the right order?

Yes. First, the shift still moves the selector shaft the same direction and second, the sensor is inside the gearbox, its irrelevant what the shifter is doing outside the bike. The reverse shift has no effect at all on the gearbox internals.

ANY company that does a flash to your stock ECU can always put it back to stock settings, then you could file a warranty claim with your ECU back in stock form..
