Looking very good. Straight up all the way. How did she feel in WOT from the low rpms? Did you have to play with the throttle to get this beautiful line?

Asking cause since a got my ECU flashed a had a little stuttering down low when open throttle wide and quick. Tought it would be a to agressive ATV map maybe...
that sounds like transient fueling. On the fuel cut thread I wondered what the log would look like with rapid throttle opening and no stps to slow the response. Every engine has a need for transient acceleration enrichment and it hard for me to believe disabling it helps more than it hurts overall.

Just my opinion, but if the ETV is opened rapidly then transient fueling will become an issue.

Did someone try a value below 100? I think if the ECU accepts that we should have something like a 1/5th throttle with some more way in the end? Thats what i think:

Thatshould give 100% tps at 75% throttle. What do you think. Someone with balls out there to try it? But i think we could check without engine running. In the data viewer!?

Race ECU ETV map is hands down superior in every way to the production ETV map. I had been fiddling around for a while trying to get this throttle smooth and responsive. I hated it.

Got my hands on the race ecu ETV and fuel maps (which tips in throttle up to 20% TPS. Once at 20%+ TPS, the ETV values are 100% at every RPM. This is the way the bike should have come out of the box. More throttle response. Hand shifting is smoother since low throttle twists are more predictable. On/Off throttle is smoother.

You can tell the team that developed the motor is the one best suited for tuning it. All of the tuning for the production bike just makes it weak and have terrible throttle transitions.

If you simply set the ETV values to 100% in all cells, you may notice some benefit in some areas, but you'll lose performance in others.
Maybe I didn't look close enough but what I saw on the standard data was 100%. I'll look again tonight.

Can you explain how a longer closed throttle can provide more power? Is it trough air flow? Thats all so difficult. These bikes are so awesome by stock... Hard to tune for a simple guy like me :-(

Thanks for that explanation. I think I understand that already. But doesn't your example show the same? Always opening throttle blades just for 50% instead of 100% asked by driver?

Maybe this video explains the ETV adjustment;

This is kind of hard to wrap your head around and have fun tuning with it.

If you have a 50 in a 20%TPS cell, that means the ETV is open only 10%, or 50% of 20 which = 10%.
