Why is it when i call a tech support or any customer support like Dell, Mindspring, Delta, etc, i get someone in India that has no F..Kin idea of what i am talking about. This is so freaking frustrating!!!

AND, then they ask for all you info, name, phone #, email, then they transfer you and the next person ASKS FOR THE SAME DAMN INFO!!!

Oh yeah, AFTER you spend 10 freaking minutes hitting every button on the phone going through every goddamn option for this dept. and that.

Customer service? What friggin customer service? Oxymoron. I feel yur pain man.:headshake

There was a thread awhile back how to bypass phone options for the most major companies...I don't know where I would start the search for that but maybe someone else can that remembers most of that thread.:dontknow:

well, i finally had to tell this Dell Tech guy this line and i was biting my tounge for 47min before i said it, "Sir, no disrespect to you, but is there anyone there that understands fluent english?" Vell, i tink i know vat you vant. Um no you don't, i don't want tech support anymore, i just want to see if Dell will give me a credit for this POS Dell DJ and i'll buy a new monitor. If not, i'll be on my way.

The answer was No credit. Bastards.

Can I just say you guys kick serious ass, and this is the best forum on the net? Bikes, T&A and great consumer info. Who'da thunk. Cheers guys, you guys are great!:beer:

BTW Rick, scrap the DJ and buy an i-Pod. you won't regret it.

I did buy an IPOD b/c this POS died on me during thanksgiving right before i was gonna drive the ROUSH back. The IPOD is sweet.

I am just trying to see if they'll give me like $50 credit and i'll get my new lcd monitor

I've read where a lot of US companies are bringing tech support back to US/Canada due to the large number of complaints with outsourced call centers.

Gotcha man. Best of luck on getting the $50. Crappy thing is, you will probably have the $50. tied up in time on the phone before it is all said and done.

when i was at IBM last assignment they asked me what i thought about this india tech support, i told them it blows, my answer wasn't what they wanted to hear but i didn't care since it was the truth and i was only doing an internship there for 10months.

so far, 1hr, 12min, and i am still waiting for this guys manager to get on the phone

That's why I have speaker phones in almost all areas of my house. I can watch the ball game, chat on the internet etc. then just speak when I hear someone in what ever room I am in at the time and continue without holding a phone.:wink:

Ain't it funny how big corporations (read management) doesn't want to hear anything that might run counter to their stewardship?

yeah thank the almighty for speaker phone. Nextel tech support goes to india and I'm always talking to atleast three people which takes so much longer since we both can't understand eachother. Cingular tech support you can understand but their arsholes :bs:

I have only had one problem with Cingular and that was about 6 years ago. Right after Bellsouth turned into Cingular, I called to ask why my phone was shut off. I was on a pay phone and VERY pissed. The bitch on the line told me that she didnt have to take my attitude and hung up!

A few months ago, I called while in WI visiting family. We got NO signal. I asked if it was my phone and I was told that they didnt have a partner agreement. I asked if I was expected to just turn my phone off for two weeks and she credited me $50.

But, that's not all.

Maybe two months ago, I got a call AND text message saying that they now had an agreement with providers in LaCrosse, WI and that I should have full service.

No matter where I was, I got a full signal. I was really impressed.:thumbsup:

You can blame this on "free trade" agreements...In reality it is a socialistic wealth redistibution policy shipping American Jobs overseas to individuals that provide poor service....It robs Americans of their jobs and robs consumers like yourself of quality customer service.

Actually, I've been trying to find quality T-shirts and clothes of all things lately and can't find them....Interestingly enough these thin see through clothes that are everywhere are also made in China...When I do finally find something quality it just so happens to be made in the U.S.A...

I hate it too. I feel your pain and dread each time I have to call tech support on anything.
