So i was going to take the crank case venting out of my airbox while i removed the "air to the exhaust" thing (which in 05 means removing all the 3 hoses, and blocking off both plates + a single airbox connector if im not mistaken..)

And i see 2 hoses, and i think the big black one is the crank case vent, but what is this white/transparent one then?

Is it ok if i just ziptie some filter element in the black hose so any trash wont get in from it?

you should leave the crankcase vent tube connected, the bigger hose, ive heard other forum member getting blow by.

Heres some things about it.. what difference would it make if the black hose gets its air from the airbox or another filter?

Lots of people say having the crankcase vent somewhere else than the airbox makes it run noticeably better? Hm..
