The Daytona 675 secured yet another title at the Masterbike test in Jerez, Spain. Masterbike is an independent track-test for sports bikes organised by Motociclismo, the best-selling bike magazine in Spain, with a judging panel comprised of 16 international motorcycle magazines. The Masterbike test is considered one of the most important and influential magazine tests due to its impartiality and fairness. The Triumph Daytona 675 continued its reign as the best Supersport bike, beating the second placed Honda CBR600RR, new for 2007, by a significant margin.

1. Triumph Daytona 675 79 points
2. Honda CBR600RR (new for 2007) 39 points
3. Yamaha R6 30 points
4. Kawasaki ZX6R (new for 2007) 22 points
5. Suzuki GSXR600 12 points

Still don't understand how you can compare a 675 against 600's. Those extra cc's make it a cheater.

when i owned my 636, all my friends would call my bike "cheater bike" cause of the extra 37cc.

now that triumph has done it same results.. i agree w/ ya alien.
It's true. It's not the best comparison. They may as well throw the GSX-R750 into the category also...guess who'll win then!

The magazines should do shoot out between the 675 and the 750. Leave the 600's out of it. Like apples and oranges :dontknow:

The 675 is a sweet ride. Adding a duc 750 to the mix would work for euro rules, as they allow the 750 v-twins to run against 600 inline 4s. Guess The trumpet with 3 cylinders fills the gap between?

i agree on that one. it don't matter if it has only three cly or not. its still 675.

But how would that be fair.... 750 vs 675... that gives the Suzuki 75cc's more than the 675... the same 75cc's its got on the 600s????????
