ok first and foremost i hate this situation....i dont try this but recently i must be attracting animals.....this never happened this much on my suzuki, lol....so anyhow I was coming home last night, cruising down the road and around this slightly uphill right hand sweeper i see something. i swerve and just barely get it with the front wheel but since im dropped 2 inches i got it with the damn aluminum body work and exhaust. turns out it was a decent size fox. i think it got hit within 15-20 minutes before i got it. worst part is that it got tangled up( politically correct term) in the exhaust, linkage, and body work. so i had to pull over a mile down the road and call home for a shovel. broke the tabs on my jardine exhaust and destroyed the aluminum bodywork.

anyone else have this happen? also had my girl on the back the other week and got a bird with the front tire at 75ish?????

Ive hit a bird this season, come damn close to hitting some deer... last season I had a small bird hit me one night in the head LOL not to sure what it was but it hurt like hell and cut my head a little bit ( no helmet on ) atleast I think it was a bird I dont knwo but if it was not one it was one big ass bug... ..

The other morning I had a cat run out of the woods and run right into my foot. I hate cats. I have hit a few birds. Almost 3 deer all standing in the road together. Lots of stuff. That just part of riding.

Well, I hit a squirrel at about 120 or so yesterday but I think I just knicked him. He looked like roadkill and I was winding her out....got up to the squirrel and it jumped right up in the air and then bolted to under my tire before running the other way. My buddy might have finished him off with his gixxer. Once he caught back up to me (I slowed down or he would have never caught back up LOL) we were just laughing out asses off. So sorry I guess this doesn't count.

When I first bought the 10 and was riding it home from the guys house...I hit a whole family of raccoons...I was going maybe 75 or so and they came right up on the freeway from the left while I was in the left lane. I had pretty much no time to respond but swerved in between the big mother raccoon and her babies behind her about 12 inches. So I tried to thread the needle at 75 through raccoons...I made it alright and once again think I just knicked them. However, my GF and a buddy were in a car behind me following me home....and they took out the whole family. Raccoon guts everywhere.

I have almost hit birds plenty of times. We get these birds here that want to stay right off the edge of the road in small brush....and when we wind out our bikes on a road we get right up on them and they freak out and bolt. Sometimes they bolt right into our line at speed. Fun times.

I haven't ever gotten any animals tangled up in my bike. Man what a mess that must be! :eyecrazy:

Almost did the same thing...we were in tight traffic on the freeway and I didn't like how close I was to the truck in front of me so I ended up getting over...and just in time! My buddies following me in their truck hit the crap out of it. It must have been hard keeping her up ehh?

yea, went right over the top of it. thankfully it didnt get caught up in the rear tire.

The car infront of me hit a foot long piece of 2X4 which I hit with my front tire...On the way home the same night I turned the corner onto a street and ran over another 2X4.

When I had my CBR in 96 I used to ride a lot of wheelies and the old single front headlight on those were bad about loose connections from it. On the way home one night I was riding down the center of the road leaned over the front of my bike slapping my headlight and I hit a dog did a front flip over the handle bars. Didn't stick the landing but not a scratch on me... on me.

Also, was turning from a stop sign and run over a piece of vinyl siding that i didnt see, and it just about bucked me off.

I hit a small deer this year, I've hit fat fucking raccoons, small bullshit animals, birds, and so much weird debris...Street riding where I live in the middle of know where in the woods is so dangerous...After the deer this year I decided to track my 10r...and give up on street riding till I move to AZ this winter...

I tagged a sparrow at 80 square in the forehead thank God I always ride with a helmet.

Not on a bike but I was second inline in a trucker convoy. The first guy hit an elk outside of Flagstaff, AZ nocked into the other lane. Somehow we sucked in back behind us and the next guy exploded all the way down the underside of his tractor/trailor. That was the nastiest mess of used to be living animal I have ever seen. Fortunately minimal damage to all involved but the elk.
