What are guys seeing as the best results for timing on these g5 motors? Ive heard a lot of mixed opinions. Anywhere from stock ignition map to adding another 6* on top of that on pump 93. I havent had time to get my bike on a dyno to see for myself. I currently have 35* in it (3* advanced over stock). Using Woolich. I feel like this should be something a little more based on fact.... but it seems opinion is ruling this answer. I get there may be a small amount of variance. But a 6* swing is a bit large for my liking. On pump 93... i tend to like things to be on the conservative side since its consistency sucks. But at the same time.. not really interested in just throwing away easy hp from running too little timing

pull up schnitz racings gen 5 flash on thier website for thier dyno findings on ignition timing variances on pump gas. i have personal experience with +3 ignition timing by woolrich flash and mr12. +3 several consistient 154mph runs on our 07 zx10. same natl race, same day, same rider we pulled it back stock and immediately consistient 159-160mph runs rest of weekend. also et dropped .25 seconds. many are pulling 1-2 degrees on mr12 and running faster. im a little less than stk now and consistient at 160. if worried about possible loss of low/midrange power stk timing or little less, ive been 132 in the 1/8 on mr12 with stated timing, stk tall low gear, stk clutch.
