Just got my new swing arm and I can adjust my wb from 69" to 73" I want to go 70" but I also wouldnt mind going longer. But at the same time im worried about traction issues. I just put a gen 1 busa shock on and did some test runs before the arm and it helped ALOT with traction at about 62". But 69" - 73" is a BIG difference. Any opinions or personal experiences please share. Thanks!!ccasion1
you should be fine with either hookup or power one... might have to play around with the tire pressure depending on track prep till you find sweet spot.
not much to say about your WB issue. Im at 60" on the wrong tire and I spin the fuck out of it. Drop the pressure and see. You could always shorten the chain up pretty easily. Just grab an extra masterlink and youll be set.
Love the bike though. The only way Ive ever liked 3rd Gen is drag setup, low and really long. And youve got a fuckin' arm on that thing man!! Looks good. Post up mroe pics.
Thanks Guys!
Im thinking about getting some 3in slammerz fork inserts from TracDynamics to drop the front. And have them revalve and cut my shock 1 or 2 in. to drop the back.
all depends on the engine mods, gearing, tire ( you have that covered), you're going to have to try it and find a happy midium between front coming up and rear spinning.
