About to do the valve adjustment an put a new valve cover gasket on. Does the engine have to come out or get dropped down?:dontknow:

Damn, you live......where you been for the last umm forever?

I replaced my valve cover gasket a while back, only had to take off airbox, throttle bodies...make sure you follow the service manual torque specs on the valve cover bolts, they are very soft and break easily...

You didn't have to take the radiator off at all?

I just did a valve cover gasket on gen2 don't have to touch radiator but I did have to remove the right side ,if your sitting on the bike, motor mount to slide the valve cover out, also remember to mark the plug wires very easy to get 1 and 2 mixed up!

nope. remove air box, throttle bodies, coils and probably the upper engine mounts. but have to drop radiator a little to get the rubber heat guard off the top of the motor
