Hey guys. Im wanting to tear down my bike and check the valve clearances but seeing i haven't undertaken this before its somewhat of a daunting procedure.
So i'd like to ask what tools are needed. I will most likely have most but possibly not all.
Spare parts such as seals, shim kits to buy etc..
And mainly any handy tips yo make the job as easy as possible. I understand it will be time consuming and fiddly so i wont be rushing it.
Cheers for the information guys!!!

I see you have a 2014 model, I am curious to how many kms you have on it? Most people will skip the first scheduled valve adjustment and get it checked on the second.

You'll need feeler gauges, a new valve cover gasket (reuse the old one if your too cheap to spend $30) and order/trade for the schims you need. No sense in buying an entire kit when you'll probably never use 90% of them. Maybe change the plugs while your in there so your not tearing the bike down again in a few months.
