hey guys, happy thanksgiving to you all,


can somebody point me in the right direction of the valve wedge tool? Im about to do my valves and want to get a reliable clearance gauge.

Hey sorry I don't have an answer for your question but you should take lots of pics and do a really good step by step how to.. That would be great!

^ will do.

i just want to find a reliable tool. i dont want the wedge blades to be cut from tuna cans lol. thats why im not sure about ebay

Try ENCO. They have feeler guages and shim stock that's supplied for the machining and metalworking industry. Just a suggestion, but buy the set with the approx. 30 degree angle bent on them, makes it easier to get under the buckets. Here's a link to the pages with feeler guages.

thanks

i haven't dealt with the feeler gages before, but i would like them to have more "resolution".


Id like them to be more detailed from .10mm to .30mm. All these seem like they only have .1, .15, .2, .25mm etc. would this be enough to effectively measure the correct gap size?
