Ok it's silly question time  I am thinking of buying 1/5 throttle insert if I don't sell my bike. The bike will need tuning after some other mods so I thought it'd be better to get it tuned with stock throttle and then install the 1/5 insert. Why? Cause it will be easier for tuner to tune for part throttle and anything other than WOT. And will probably be easier to hold it steady in smaller rev increments. What do you think :dontknow:

all the 1/5th does is give you a +20% mechanical advantage... basically ups the gear ratio of the grip to the TB's...

shouldn't be a problem for any compitent mech...

however if it is a problem... it can be removed... the tune performed and then reinstalled... it shouldn't effect the tune ... all it does is turn the throttle faster so throttle bodies, the TPI, nothing else on the bike is effected, it just as if you have a really fast, and far turning wrist.
