Hi I have a question my bike is geared 1dn. in front & 6 up on rear. I Noticed this weekend before I crossed through the traps my speedo said 189 but my trap speed was 144. does anyone know if the speed restrictor is shutting my bike down & if so would a speedo healer stop this. I know the bike should be running around hi 9.30's @ around 148. OH by the way with 1down & 4up it ran 9.43 @ 148! Trap speed was showing 184 on speedo!

A speedo healer would correct the indicated speed, and supposedly "derestrict" the bike because the indicated speed is lower. However, even though most bike mags explain how all current bikes are limited to 300kmh (186/187 mph) some people (even Ivan) still insist that the 10R is not electronically limited. I think this is a great oportunity for you to get the speedo healer and PROVE if it does make a difference in your trap speeds. If you have a noticable improvement, then it probably did exactly what we thought it would (deristrict the bike).

Get one and prove something about being limited or not !
