Michelin Pilot Powers or Dunlop Qualifiers

1998 ZX9, I my weight fluctuates between 230 and 250, I do only street riding, no stunting or burnouts, or anything silly, no trackdays yet, just regular riding. Live in Chicago can get cool at night as well as in the mornings before sun kicks in during spring and fall riding weather. Looking for a good all purpose tire to handle a variety of regular cruising riding conditions as well as the ocassioanal open road wide open spurts.

Neither.

Look at the Bridgestone BT016 or the Pirelli Diablo Corsa III. They're multi or variable compound tires that will give you good grip when leaned over but much better life than either the qualifier or the pp.

If you have your heart set on one of those two tires i'd probably suggest the Michelin.
