If you want your bike to be unique, you have to do all the research yourself..
Read the threads, google, chk out different bike forums, and just let your mind be free...
Go sit in front of your bike..Look at whats ungly or weird or the same as everyone elses bike..The change it..

This is great advice. I'm very technical - you tell me what you want I can do it - but not a hood designer or such. This advice is basically how I decide what to do with my bike. I get I read from others on this forum, or find things i dont like about my bike and figure out the options for changing it.

Your bike wont be unique if you do what everyone else does. Don't put the same parts as everyone else. Read lots of threads and do what others aren't. Certian brand exhaust systems are very common on a 10r while others are not. Same for rearsetsl stickers, and rims. Take the time to read and research what others have done and piece together your own monster.
Do you like flashy/bling? Or are you more into light weight? Street setup, track, or drag mostly?

google your bike but search under "images" and just scroll thru the pages to see what things you like and disclike on others bikes...then try to incorporate those things into your new design...slap a race fairing set on there and put a single or double stack HID kit on the front? just throwing some things out there....best of luck!!

Lift it 2 inches and put some dual sport tires on. I haven't seen that done to a 10r yet. You could dig some trenches with 180 hp and a knobbie!

No knobbies. :dontknow:

That guy is one of the front runners on my list of people to never buy a used bike from.
I used to do some of that with my Buell Ullysses but would never do that to my 10.

Street tires do pretty well until you hit real mud, thought they ullysses had pirrelli scorpion tires that weren't knobbies but were meant for unpaved roads and street.

I agree though, no buying that guy's used bike.

Actually made me wonder if he stole it.

Make it yours. As a guy who builds bikes if you say do what you want with it to make it unique I'll make a Viagra themed bike. Just saying do alot of research.
