Third Annual ZX-10r.net RALLY June 6th-10th

I know it is early but a lot of members have been asking about our spring rally. This will be the third year and the last two have been a lot of fun. So here is what we usually do. We stay at the Fontana village and we rent a bunch of cabins. Go riding during the day and at night we all stand around and talk about whose bike is the best looking, and we all know its my R1, shoot fireworks off at the neighbors (cough Miykl cough) , and just have a good time. Eveldoer, I promise not to pass Derek in the gass this year as well. We have been rained on in the past and we have decided to try to push the date back. I think we have gone in April and possibly March in the past. Lets plan on June 6th-10th The Greensboro gang and I will probably go up there on the 6th or possibly the 5th (pending on money and vacation time) and stay until Sunday(10th). The first year we had the most members and last year there wasn’t too many of us. Lets try to get more to go this year. If some of you want to get in the member movie this would be a good place to get footage for the next one. I will be running a camera, my roomate will be, and I believe that Eveldoer will be running one also. We maybe even to be able to talk kickaho into coming.

Here are some links to the previous years threads:

The r1-forum is up there june 11th thru the 17th. We do not want to be there that weekend. I know that one member died up there last year and there will be popo's everywhere

Is the rally held at the Gap?
Are you taking dates as to which is best for everyone considering going?
Depending on the timeframe, there is a good chance I can make it.

Chad... at this point, I think just pick a date... giving choices never really works. As usual, i'll do my best to be there. I'll work on Crispin too. Maybe we can get his crazy bent azz up there again.

Beaner we switched bryans from track to street every weekend. So you gotta come up with something better than that

Prob not. That was his Easter (spring) break. We're going to Washington with his class this year. 22 hrs on a greyhound with 13/14 y/o's. Lovely. Gotta get my Xanex script filled!

I'll do my best like I said. hopefully I'll have the CoonDuc ready by then. If not, I may just do my first long distance ride on the 14. That's what i bought it for afterall.

+1... an hours work! Hell even with the Duc it's less than that once you know what you're doing. And with the Duc, i'm swapping wiring harnesses! :eyecrazy:

(wiring harness actually makes the process easier...)

You and Dustin can ride up there together. He keeps trying to get me to ride that far and I keep telling him I don't have a sport touring bike like he does

Its 4.5 hours. Plus its just easier to pull it with the truck, as long as i dont run the trailer thru the side of the truck again. That way we can take food, clothes, refreshments, and stuff like that. Plus I would get too many tickets riding the interstate the whole way.

I'll be there as usual! Can't wait I'll be bringing some real fire works this time. I won't be out-done (at least with the fire works) by some young wiper snappers. And Chad please keep that dual-purpose bike on the road this time. It was a little scary seeing an R1 going 90+ in the grass!
