Alright, well some of you may already know about this already and others may not. Myself, I recently discovered it and I've always wanted a gopro/drift but could never see my self dishing out the money for it when I could always buy *Insert long list of bike parts here.* But.... thanks to one of my youtube binge sessions, I came across "The GoPro Killer":hello:
Now, I bought this camera for $55 on ebay and I have to say, I can't recall the last time I got so much quality for so little money. Very soon, I will have photos and videos for you guys to see but before that, I will say I've done a side by side comparison with my friends Hero 4 and the GoPro IS BETTER but if I had to price the differences in quality, I'd say it's $50 at most. At 1920x1080p 60fps, this Xiaomi Yi is solid competition for the GoPro especially if you want multiple cameras mounted. Also, I believe a large part of the price difference is technology. .. There's no screen on the Xiaomi Yi because it connects to an app on your phone. You turn on the camera, open the app, and see exactly what the camera sees. Makes it much easier to adjust it before a ride and no, it doesn't have to open to record but it's the easiest way to view your videos and you can download them straight to your phone. For $55, I couldn't find a reason not to buy it.
