thank god i'm back. its been 8 years!!!!!!

I had a 2004 zx6rr, loved the bike. now, 8 years later I have a 2006 zx10r with 13,xxx miles on it. I was able to start my old bike with it in N and the kickstand down, this bike I cant do that. the kickstand has to be up in order for me to start it. I heard it is either the kickstand sensor or the neutral safety switch. any help would be great

:welcome: Looking good!

That is the first zx10r i have seen with a toce exhaust.. curious of how it sounds. I mainly have seen them on yamaha r1's and they sound pretty damn amazing but i hear performance is not so great. If you get a chance i would love to hear a video of it.

the sound is amazing. I will put a video up soon.
:welcome: back Vinny!

Since the sidestand has to be up I would assume that it is working properly. I would check the connector for the neutral switch. Do you also have to pull in the clutch lever for it to start?
Cut the 2 wires going into the kickstand switch. Soldered them together with some heat shrink. Starts every time in N. No issues.

Well that's another way to do it, glad you got it fixed!
