I bought some new Teknic saddlebags to use on my 08' ZX10R, I know I know it's a sportbike and not a cruiser so no need for those comments because I already know. I decided after our weekend at the MotoGP that I needed a set of bags to carry stuff such as a blanket, food, beverages and those types of things. It's expensive to eat/drink at the track so next year I'll be more prepared. The bags are made by Teknic who is a top name in motorcycle jackets and other riding gear. They have built in rain covers and outer pockets with huge amounts of storage inside. They also have hard plastic inserts inside to keep them in the correct shape and not collapsed. The bags retail for $129.99 but I found a seller on Ebay selling them for $39.99 plus shipping. The overall fit is ok but not perfect due to the front strap not being able to lay on the rear seat, the front lower straps fit perfect around the passenger pegs and the rear straps I just strapped together to keep them from flopping around.

You should have someone follow you with a video camera to see how much those things move around loaded at speed. Looks good though, nice alternative to driving.

Yeah I didn't realize they were going to be as big as they are but for the $50 I have into them I'm not complaining, worst case I can always sell them and pick up some smaller bags. I only plan on using them for events such as the MotoGP etc, I'm not a luggage type of person but it beats driving and having to pay for parking, food and drinks!!!

I have some saddle bags too. I had them on my R6 but haven't had the chance to use them on my 10. Be careful with the bags since they will rub through the paint. It happened on my R6 but my tail was already broken so I didn't care. It happens quick too! Now on the 10 it would have pissed me off. Put some protection over the paint like some of that 3m clear guard and keep an eye on it!

I may end up trying to resell them to get some smaller bags, I won't use them often and won't need to carry alot so smaller bags would be better for me I think.
