The bolt-on extensions are your best option. 4-6in over with a mostly stock bike and a good tire, will give you pretty good results. But what do I know, I ride stock wheelbase:lol: call Dwayne at Cycle Concepts(803-285-8093) he will help you out.
i run bolt-ons and a 65hp shot of nos.i have 5 other buddies on busa's that i extended with 60 shots of nos and we never had a problem. if you buy bolt-on for $99 from ebay that some red neck made out of there barn then yeah i might see them breaking but not a good set.i trust mine 100%. i seen alot at the track running 200 hp without any problems.
I'm trying to figure out the safe or not so safe limit on the stock rods n pistons. When I first joined 10.net their was a guy on here saying he put a 100 shot on stock motors (valve springs of course) all time as long as u progressed it in. I'm temped to try this theory out, just wondering who...

Probably not the best place to put this thread, but it is drag race specific. I have a Woolsey sidewinder exhaust and my OE radiator won't clear. Looking for either an alternate radiator from another bike that will fit or a used grudge style rad for my gen 3.
