I was looking at the suspension tuning guide for both the '11 and '12 ZX-10R on Sport Rider and the recommended setups are pretty different between the two years. I'm curious if anything was changed or if this is a simple case of different test tracks, different setups.

ZX-10R ('11) 10 turns out 3 turns out 3 turns out 14 mm thread showing 1 click out High-speed: .5 turns out; low-speed: 2.5 turns out Ride height: 11mm fork tube showing above top triple clamp

ZX-10R ('12) 5 turns in from full soft 4 turns out 3.5 turns out 8mm thread showing 2 turns out High-speed: .5 turns out; low-speed: .5 turns out Ride height: set fork tubes flush with triple clamp

Nothing is changed between those years. They just chose different settings based on the test rider.

Which goes to show you relying on a magazine "suggestion" is not the best way to go since every rider is different. Find a tuner in your area and get it setup to you.
