Hi All,

So I got some E-bay specials for my '04, and I'll be wanting braided steel lines.

Will the ('07 ZX-6R) calipers work well with my stock M/C ??

Should I get brake lines for ZX-10R or another model...??

Thanks for any advice!

yeah they will work for sure, if you can get a hold of a master cyl off that bike and upgrade from the crappy 04 master you'd for sure be set!

what ever master cyl you get get the brake lines for that. the 04-05 zx-10r master has lines that the bolt goes in horizontal and the 06+ 10r, 14r, and 6r, go vertical.

P.S. I have a master cyl off a ZX-14 for sale ;-) pm if interested!

The lines attach to the top of the Nissins, but halfway down on the Tokicos, so you'll gain a bit of slack in the lines when you fit the Nissins. I'd definitely fit a later radial m/c, of a 636 c1h/c6f, zx14, or similar.

I used 6R lines and they fit well. Go for a radial master off of an 05 or newer 6R or 06-07 10R if you can, or just try it like it is first and see what you think. Awesome mod, best bang for the buck on our 1st and 2nd gen 10s

I used 06-07 ZX10 stainless lines on my 04 when I did the conversion.

Well, Thanks Everybody,

I'll try as is for now but will certainly keep the radial M/C in mind!
