I bought this bike for $3700, in perfect mechanical condition and 8500 miles but VERY bad appearance wise. Someone attacked it with flat black spray paint, and did some horrid plastic welding. So I decided to try my first real paint job. I repaired most of the plastics, and replaced a couple pieces. Then painted it House of Kolors Kandy tangerine, and gloss back.

I bought new uppers and lowers, repaired the sides and tail.

It looks good, i just bought a bike that looked almost exactly like that about 4 months ago. It looks a little better now but i think i'm just gonna buy some hong kong plastics this winter instead of trying to piece together some OEM parts. :welcome: to the site!

That poor bike... Is it an '04 or '05? I like the new paint job, it looks great. The previous "paint job" however, makes me wonder if it's legit...

Did the last "owner" really paint over it all the way it is, engine, suspension and all? It looks like the brakes and forks are painted too. That can't be too good for it. :dontknow:

Yup, he painted everything...right before it was repoed.

Looks good ,can u clean off the engine caseings with steel wool or something to get that spray paint off.?
