Took the 10R to get the scuff buffed off of my tank today and good news, it came out!
Where was I? O yeah, on the way home I was feeling rather randy so I chopped the throttle to pull it up, and right as it started to raise there was a light clunk sound coming from behind me. I thought it was one of the chain adjusters loosening up and sliding forward. When I stopped to look, everything was fine, the adjusters were tight, the chain slack was fine.

I have no idea what this was. And it kinda freaks me out since this bike has just recently been on it's side.

Anyone with ideas?

Did you feel the bike "move/jerk" when you heard the noise?

I am assuming it wasn't the streering head bushings...:dontknow: :dontknow:

It felt like a tremor sent from the back.

The steering head was my first thought too. This place has turned me into a hypocondriac. :badteeth:

I dont know mine clunks sometimes when I clutch the bike up around 40-45, chain has the right amount of tension, etc, but it still does it, never does it on power wheelies so go figure.

I noticed a slight clunk/pop a couple times on my last ride (after the sprocket install) that kinda felt like they were comin' from the chain/sprockets. Don't you have a 16t front sprocket, too? I didn't wheelie, I felt it takin' off from a dead stop a couple times. I'm gonna pull the countershaft sprocket cover before I ride again and recheck the chain, but I know it's all like it's supposed to be. I just wonder if it doesn't have somethin' to do with the chain turnin' a tighter radius than before. I dunno...

I never felt this before so I'm guessin' the clunk/pop is related to the 16t countershaft sprocket somehow.
