What's your favorite? What have you sampled and liked?

We're talking Single Malt Scotch here, so no Colt 45 drinkers allowed!

Here is what you do....Get a 40 of any Malt Liquor and pour out just enough to fit a RedBull in it, then taste it....it tastes well...at least it makes the beer drinkable....

:spit:Actually I like the chocolate malt from Dairy Queen. Cheaper and can't lead to a DUI:beer:

Arbelour

Most single malts seem a bit harsh to me. LAPHROAIG is Very Strong - you have to cut it with some-thing (soda or water), which is a shame, 'cuz I think single malts should be best enjoyed on-the-rocks.

So, Arbelour gets my vote.

in no particular order

Glenmorangie at 12 or older, Ardbeg 12, any of the Bowmores at 12 or older (but the 30 is a bit too strong). A really interesting one to me was the Loch Dhu 10, but sadly that is largely out of stock everywhere here stateside since they shuttered the doors.

Laphroaig is a love-it-or-hate-it choice (and I am not in the love it camp). Another 'loud' one that I do like is Talisker.

Most single malts are to "peaty" to me, but I did like Loc Dhu the black scotch, I still have a bottle. Lismore and Glenfiddich are also pretty good
