I have a Scorpio alarm that's about 2 years old. I bought it for my R6 and it worked perfectly in that bike. I traded the R6 in for my ZX-10R ('06) and moved the alarm to the new bike. The alarm functions fine except the wireless range to the pager sucks now. I have to get within 30'-40' with a clear line of sight just to set the alarm or turn it off. I've tried moving the antenna wire and I can't seem to increase the reception. Is this because of the underseat exaust or is my alarm just screwed up? I was VERY careful when removing it from the R6 and during installation on the 10. I have the alarm under the passenger seat, so there not a lot of places to run the antenna. I've tried running it in different positions inside the fairings around the seat and also out the hole where the license plate light wires run.

Any ideas?

I called Scorpio and they said I can ship the alarm to them and they can check it out, but I'd hate to do that if there's some simple work around.
