On the track yesterday! That is one FUN machine. I actually like it better than my Hypertard. I got to drag knee on it for about 10 mins. It's a very different, evil little machine.:thumbsup::thumbsup: WAAAYYY fun and will put on a smile on your face everytime you twist the throttle!:badteeth:

I will agree with you addict, rode an 'S' about half a day and few weeks ago and loved it. Great bike, almost traded my Duc in for it. Still might.

yeah love the 1098/1198 experience to my 1098 will be officially sold in the morning..
had one of the best riding positions on a bike i have ever ridden, but off track it can put a hurtin on you, especially us older guys.
the streetfighter would be a nice change higher bars, and still a totally awesome handling machine..but in italy even with the discount we are talking HUGE money!

for now i am doing a 674cc big bore kit in my 636 to finish her up, as the bike is well under 400lbs fully fueled and will be even lighter when i complete my headlight mod.

I cant say i am looking at anything specific but i would very much like to buy a USED WSS or WSB (kawasaki or Honda)...have been looking on various sites here in europe..
Was offered Regis Laconi's 2006 #1 WSBK, but cant stand the 2nd gen zx10r...
2 month's ago tracked down a 2004 WSBK ZX10R but they sold it in the meantime...same one that is in the WSBK in review book how sweet is that?

When i was at the Ducati factory last year i expected to see the employee parking lot full of 1098's.
I was wrong it was full of the Motards, so if the boys in Bologna think they are the shit they can't be wrong.

I have truly fallen in love with my Hypertard. Now that I'm accustomed to riding it comfortably, I tend to wheelie away from every light, corner, parking lot and driveway. Fun and stress relief at it's best!!!

I tried out the new Streetfighter and a Tuono. Both very cool bikes, but felt slower and heavier than my 750. Well the Streetfighter feels like a scooter and very slender in the tank area. I didn't really like the seating position. It's comfortable like riding a couch with just a view of the road in front, but I like to sit in the bike not on the bike. Good power, great brakes, looks cool, but it's just not racy enough for me I guess.

The Tuono felt large before riding it, but then felt vary maneuverable, stable and planted while riding. The handlebars and felt high and a little awkward and the clutch grabs after almost fully releasing it. The power felt on par with the Streetfighter except maybe not as feisty in the lower gears in between shifts. Nice bike for the money.

I was really hoping to try an 848 or other Ducati Supersport but they only had those plus a Monster 1100 and a Hyper Motard.
