I think i have a ring not seated, only cause of some oil residue underneath my airbox. only reason why im asking is cause i'm new at this stuff.

Some oil in your airbox will be normal because crankcase gases are diverted back thru the airbox.

I would think moisture/humidity could also play a part in this.
Maintenance too!

it's kept pretty clean and in a climate controlled area. i have a leakdown test coming this tuesday. hopefully its a scare and not the real deal. also can you still race with a ring not seating?

Yeap normal stuff. Just cap your airbox off where the CCV comes in. And cut that tube short and stick a little filter on it. Good to go:thumbsup:

that the very bottom/rear side of the airbox? what type of filter? similar to a car fuel line?
