replacing fork seals with ohlins inserts

927 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  Ranjit1194
my fork seals have started weeping again on my 2011, but this time I have the ohlins 30mm inserts installed. I don't remember the install process enough to remember if I'm going to need any special tools? Anyone know enough to shed some light? :helmet:

I haven't personally worked with ohlins carts yet, but their fork caps require a special socket.
You would need the ohlins cartridge tool which is available on bike bandit.com ... A bit expensive at 125$ and you would need a pin spanner to remove the top cap of the forks... Can't think of any other tool you would need

Although you need to double check as it's a BPF on your 2011 and I'm not sure if you would need any other special tools
