Short and sweet. Both forks are leaking, and I have read about replacing the seals in the forums but I have never done it myself. I wanted to know if it would be too much to tackle by myself? I am mechanically inclined and I learn by doing, but I will eventually end up doing 150+ mph on this thing and I want to know if I should leave it to a professional?

I'm thinking I might tackle this one with a buddy and save myself 250 bucks.

Do it man!! You'll be glad you did. I bought that tool kit for $100 bucks and have done about a dozen forks since. Its a piece of cake once you get it down

you should be able to have it done professionally for 100-125.... Not a dealer of course but a motorcycle shop.

There's a place here in Pasadena that will do them for $125 including all parts and labor, OR if you wanna knock it out and need an extra set of hands.......i'm not that far away bud, IF you need the help? hell, i wouldn't mind doing mine too if that was cool?
