So i have a slight oil leak with my forks. I purchased an All Balls kit as recomended by someone's post.

Question: can i do it myself with relative ease?

also, would i need any special tools

You need air tools for getting the cartridge assembly out of the bottom fork tube, and you need some sort of spring compressor / holder for dealing with the spring and the top piece of the cartridge. This is for disassembling the fork the way the shop manual says you are supposed to and for reliably setting the fork oil level and bleeding air out of the forks. I don't know of any short-cuts that will work reliably.
