don't buy what sting bought. Get the tpx with wireless helmet insert. Put the receive right where your eye is located; put the wireless on/off back-bottom of helmet. Use the techmount for our forks. I think 43 mm, but check that:

TECHMOUNT - Products

pops on the battery run the wire in the side plastic to the front.
I have a techmount already that mounts with a compression ring around the shock. I have the Escort Passport Max2 with a TaoTronics Bluetooth dongle that's connected to my SMH10R :thumbsup:. I did end up wiring it in to the brown wire for ignition power with the larger (looks like 16g) black/yellow for negative. Works like a charm now. Only problem with the Max2 to from what I read is the vibration from the mount in the car on the suction cup or whatever will eventually split the damn thing.

On a side note: The SMH10R is Bluetooth 3.0 (one chip) so I'll be upgrading to the 20S soon for the Bluetooth 4.1 (two chips) so I can connect to my phone (have to be on call all the time due to work) and the radar detector at the same time.

This is just a thought.
I'm not big on the electronics so I wouldn't know how to do this but would it be possible to rig up a radar detector with LED's that run throughout the bike..
For an example: whenever your radar detects a cop, your bike glows with LED's
I'm sure a lot of you would hate that but it's definitely something I could see myself spending money on lol
I've never been big on LED's but having them for that situation only would be badass to me.
That's how I roll, Escort 8500ci triggers an electronic relay, which sets off a stupid bright Hyper-Light flashing brake light.

glass, must run audio alert. light won't work if you ride even slightly dialed in.

Fantastic, not sure what you said, but the techmount link I gave you is the one that attaches to the fork just above the triple, then velcro device to that.

If blue T is audio then ok there. Bottom line is audio is mandatory for dialed in stuff.

Old guy, I'm back. Had to take a break as couldn't stop laughing. OK. Have to share with you and others here as might be useful. I'm located in CA weather good and ride a lot due to my circumstances. I run the TPX radar with wireless helmet insert; works perfectly. The corana nonsense has been great for bikes as road traffic was down to almost scant the first few weeks but has been rebuilding over time yet not anywhere near the jams I normally encounter. So, running radar, I caught first ticket in YEARS. CHP using the Ka lidar, I'm running East into sun, he's completely hidden in shadows with foliage, top to bottom, covering profile; no lights, I had no clue any auto was there;

KEY: popo did NOT have radar engaged UNTIL I very close. I HEARD radar at full power BEFORE I saw him but did not know if he was able to lock. Still not sure as not sure myself what my speed was but felt slow. As I immediately chop he pull onto the slab and jumps behind and take plate and lights up. Then informs that I was whatever, over 100 mph.

Bail is 899 dollars; that bill came thru couple weeks ago. One week later CHP tried SAME technique in different area same county. Dang. He was not cloaked and I always slow throttle near any new condition. I ride same loop a lot, for good reason. No traffic and the parasites listen to every old lady whining about every sore point in their day! Or, are other riders acting stupid and being called in? idk as never see anyone around here but a few baggers. Or, plandemic home nerds hate the graves that much? :)

Never bother anyone, never pass hot, slow when splitting, thx wave when traffic offer couple inches; clear weather and no traffic and stupid ideological bullshit! Dang!
