We both started in second gear and rolled to about 140, where I had 4-5 on him. I instantly shot out about 3 on him and the pulled a couple more to the 140- 150 mark. The new clutch feels awesome, grabs very hard. Makes me think it might have been slipping for a while before it went out.

All advice from everyone led me back to OEM. It's no longer a slipper clutch though, It's been welded. I don't know how many people have actually seen this clutch apart, it's definately a slipper. What role that may have played in the failure of my original clutch, if any, I don't know. I'm just used to being able to hot lap my 600 10 times back to back and have no issues, can't do that with a 1000.
