Just thought I would share this info for you guys who might bid on this

Here is the race cam part number : 49118-0134
its $138.41 on Ronayers website

the 08-09 stock intake cam specs are : 292 degrees duration and 9.7mm lift
the 08-09 race intake cam specs are : 296 degrees duration and 9.7mm lift

the 04-07 stock intake cam specs are : 300 degrees duration and 9.1mm lift
the 04-07 race intake cam specs : 310 degrees duration and 9.7mm lift

now on the exhaust side of things I think is where they power is to be released.

The race part number for the 08-09 race exhaust cam is the same part number as a STOCK 04-07 exhaust cam

so you can pick up a used stock exhaust cam from a 04-07 and then buy the intake cam.

Just thought I'd let u guys know.

I think since your going to be going to a larger exhaust cam (which is the only cam I'd put in there) it will pick up power. the 04-05 race exhaust cam was about the size of the stock 08-09 exhuast cam and I lost 7hp with that on my 04-05 so maybe a good 7 back??? I honestly dont know since I havent been able to test it yet.

ebay link

Here's a link for some 06-07 cams for 49 or best offer. Looks like a good deal for the 3rd gen owners

for the 1st and second gen there used to be a intake race cam that has 9.7mm lift instead of 9.1mm and 310 duration instead of 300. but they discontinued them so you will have to get a set from web or someone else.

Ryan Gill at RidersChoice, one of the best in the country and he's local.

If you're going to do it, do it soon before he's swamped with race bikes for the 2010 season. Or wait until the 2010 season is underway.
