Hello there,
I'm new to the group and recently bought a 2008 ZX10R, I'm looking to get a quick shifter and i would like to get opinions on what's good and bad of the units available out there, I'm aware that some do up and down and others only do up, looking for recommendations, thanks in advance

For a Gen 3, you can go with a Bazzaz QS. It uses ignition cut instead of fuel cut which I prefer because it is more immediate. The Woolich reflash kit still requires some sort of sensor. That's extra and the base reflash kit won't do that for that year. DynoJet makes one also, but it's fuel cut.

You can never do downshift with that model without an extensive modification. In order to do that, you would need to hook a drive motor up with throttle cables to the throttlebody so it can open the throttle for you. Last autoblip kit I saw for the earlier models was just over $1,500. It's complicated and difficult to install.
