I bought Rifleman's quick throttle adapter but did not use because I don't want to modify the OEM components. Instead, I installed a Cycle Pirates quick throttle kit which you may see at www.cyclepirates.com. I used the 44mm adapter. After installation and adjustments, I did not sense the dramatic change on throttle turn speed I expected. It almost feel stock. When comparing the stock tube to the kit adapters, there is a significant difference, but it just does not feel quick.

Has anyone experienced this issue? I tried rifleman's 1/5 throttle adapter on an 07, that was a quick throttle.

The throttle housing that Riflemans insert goes into only costs about $20, if you don't want to modify OEM for what i assume is a warranty issue, just go online and buy yourself another throttle housing.

Larger diameter = shorter throttle. No way
around it. If you put a small dot on the grip,
then 2 marks on the throttle housing (one at
0% and the other at 100%) you would see
the difference.
