Getting my bike ready for an all street bike race here at the strip by me this weekend, and I'm putting new wheel bearings in. And since I don't have enough time to order one single front line to run one rotor, can just pull off one of them and leave the caliper hooked up with no rotor on one side? I know most of the weight savings comes from the caliper but the rotating mass of the rotor is what I'm looking to lose. Would doing this affect the one side? I know breaking will be different but it will only be for the strip

How long do you need the line to be? I've got hundreds of them in stock in brands I no longer actively sell.

Or what year is that bike? I may very well have a 2-Line set in stock to get you by.

I don't see why (in a pinch) you could not like, cap off the line.

The right size bolt and a couple of copper washers. Zip the line up somewhere.

Pressure test using a zip tie on the front brake for a few hours.
