So finally in this country, there is guy who is an official dynojet tuner
etc etc. I am going Saturday to dyno my bike, he said i must seal the air hose
that goes from the airbox to the engine (reed valves), to be able to have an accurate a/f ratio to make the custom map.

The 10 has full akra, BMC filter and TRE.

Is this the case? How do you dyno them?
Any info from the modern world is welcome

you should still be fine and not have to block it off.... those valves usually only work under certian conditions and im sure wide open throttle isnt one of them

Normally if you are tuning your bike this is DONE, but you can get away without doing it.
just may not be as good of a tune say 99% as good.

That is the 1st mod i do to all my bikes, pair block off.

Thanks guys for your input.

I see its the block off plates he was talking about.
Now, what is the easiest way to remove them?
Through side fairings or remove tank?

My tuner said it wasn't necessary but it would help fine tune the map.

Back from the dyno

Well, i got back from the dyno.

Got a healthy 164.25 Hp and 106 Torque.
I will post it in a while. Best difference is the custom map, the
power commander site full map only made 158, low was terrible.
The bike now is flying

Interesting, the tuner said another zx10 04 with removed flies,
velocity stacks and gasket-intake cam only made 165ish...

Your TQ number seems a little high. When you get the chance to, post your dyno charts for others to see.
