My buddy has just developed a head shake problem. Here is what he just did.he put a new shinko 005 tire on. After he spun the old one off on the burnout pad.If the tire was not balanced would it make it shake bad?Or did he screw up the head bearings on the burnout pad?It was done on new ruff concrete any ideas?? He does not have a steering damper

1st off riding an 04 without a damper is terrifying.

2nd. A few things can contribute to head shake. Was the tire balanced properly on the rim? I also know that my 10R doesnt like Dunlop 209's. They grow at speed and change the suspension geometry, even with my ohlins damper i still got some "front end talking" at 100mph+.

Double check that the tire is mounted properly then tell your friend to buy a damper.
