Greetings,

I am new to the site so please forgive me for my ignorance.

Ever since I bought my bike a few months ago, the power cuts in and out around 7k rpm and up when full throttle aka when I'm giving her hell. I had it dyno'd today and it only made 126 horsepower, which isn't where it should be at all. I originally took it there to get it tuned, but the tune wasn't causing the problem; the fuel/air ratio was close to perfect.

I bought spark plugs today, will probably install them tomorrow. Does anybody have any other suggestions? I was told it could be a coil as well, or possibly something as silly as a short in a ground or wiring.

Any responses would be great, thanks!

I thought it was the fuel pump as well, but if the fuel/air ratio was good wouldn't that eliminate that as a potential problem?
