Hi Guys, I own a stock 2008 lime green zx10. I have an M4 slipon, and I want to add a BMC Filter. I was told a PC won't be needed, although you lose some power in the low range of below 4k, but gain after 7k, which is scary considering the bike is fast already. Any thoughts on a PC? Needed?/not needed?

It is advised to get a PC with both exhaust and air filter upgrades.

Note that unless you can find a map from someone with the same upgrades then you might have to get a custom tune. The map on the dynojet site is meant for a full M4 exhaust system with air filter or a map for an aftermarket air filter and the stock exhaust. These won't be good for you. I currently have an M4 s/o with a BMC Race Filter and have the map from dynojet with the stock exhaust and it isn't good. Way to rich as I have lost at least 20 miles per tank. I am waiting to get a custom tune for this reason and only using this map as temp.

So...I'd say that if you get the PC then you should invest in a custom tune to get the most out of the mods and for the bike to run better overall.
