When I was at Mid-Ohio for the races I had my bike dynoed and found it to be down on power compared to my local shop and I put this down to dyno differences. The problem is that another guy there told me to check my map as he had lost his several times. He claimed that when you stall the bike while driving that you could potentially lose your map. I had a custom map done and when I got home I found that the map in the bike is the stock (updated in april '04) map. I don't know if his story is true but I do know that my map is gone. I'm going back to my tuner to get another copy of it but this is kind of a pain in the @ss. Has anyone else had this problem or have you even checked your maps, I hadn't untill he told me this. Just wondering.

So... have you lost a map again since this post or just a one time thing so far?
Just wondering.

The map is supposedly flashed to an EPROM, so you should theoretically never lose a map unless the PC is bad.
